The Many Rivers Group, Sierra Club’s mission is to educate the community about the importance of conserving local forests. I led the Hardesty Wildlands Campaign social media strategies and assisted in organizing fundraisers to promote the campaign.
In addition, I researched the history of Hardesty wilderness and interviewed local author Bill Sullivan, best known for his hiking guidebooks, who affirmed the recreational benefits and need to protect the closest wilderness to Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding communities.
